For years, the mainstream media has preyed on the misfortunes of the celebrities. You have to remember that they are people, just like us. They aren’t superior or inferior to us. They are still people. Put yourself in their shoes; imagine what it would be like to be them. Can you imagine yourself being able to handle a quick trip to Wal-Mart while a dozen photographers are following you around and even ask you some personal questions?
I know I wouldn't like it. It's not a condition that people should accept when they choose to pursue a career in acting. Never, it's harassment. It should be illegal for anyone to stalk a person in order to generate revenues.
I believe a lot of these people were forced into the media spotlight. Just look at Britney Spears, Tom Cruise, Jennifer Lopez and more. They all got ridiculed and mocked at their expenses of their misfortunes and even happiness. It's a sick obsession, and the mainstream media love it because it generates a pretty profit. Most of these people, all they want to be known for are for their acting careers, not their personal lives. They don't need to be mocked for it.
It's just wrong.
The mainstream media is a manipulator; they manipulate the truth and feed it to us as the truth. Now is the time for the people to wake up and smell the coffee.
Don’t support the mainstream media by believing their crap. It is none of our business to know the personal details of these people whose lives were invaded by the mainstream media.
It’s not a choice, neither is it a clause they forgot to overlook before pursuing the career. It’s a situation they are forced into.
To the mainstream media, I have no interest in any of the celebrities’ lives. All I want to see in the entertainment section are movie reviews along with the small details like the cast list, writers, producers, directors and more. Nothing more. I am absolutely confident that most people don’t care for it either.
Whoever thrives on the stories on celebrities’ personal lives need to see a shrink.
