No, it's because they are really the colours of my eyes. Well, the image displayed above was tweaked and re-colourized using Adobe Photoshop. Still, they are the colours of my eyes as I just mentioned. As many of my readers may be unaware of, the reason why I have two different coloured eyes is due to a syndrome I was born with. It is commonly referred to as 'Waardenburg Syndrome'. Whoa, whoa... it's nothing to worry about. It's just an abnormal condition; so I'll still be here do the blogging!
*Knocks the wood*
Though I must say that I'm grateful to have the roof at the top inside my mouth and that my eyes aren’t too far apart or I’ll look like E.T. from the movie. I’m not the one with the desire to attract attention from the public for having such a unique appearance. Deafness and two differently coloured eyes are common among these with ‘Waardenburg Syndrome’. One of the most common features in having the syndrome is premature graying of the hair. Yes, I do have grey hair. Yes, I used to get made fun of back in elementary school and referred to as the old man on the schoolyard. Did it bother me?
Not really. Kids will be kids. We always made fun of each other due to a large number of ridiculous reasons.
