Hmm-mm, I knew something was quite fishy when I saw some of these statistics floating around on the net. They weren't phoney at all, they were real but there were something missing... the posting dates of the statistics. The reason why I posted this is because some bloggers had been misleading some of their readers on the facts of presidential approval ratings. President Clinton's lowest approval ratings occurred in his first term as the President of the U.S.A. while President Bush is experiencing it right now in his second term.
Some of these bloggers clearly had an agenda and left out the fact that President Clinton experienced these low ratings only in the first couple years as the president and after that, it never went below the 40s again. It's quite childish that some people are foaming at their mouths whenever the name Clinton is mentioned.
Shame on the bloggers for misleading their readers. Sure, they stated the facts, but they also left out the dates of when these statistics were posted. The relevance of dates is not to be underestimated. Just because President Clinton isn't well liked by some of the voters doesn't mean they should butcher up the facts to make it look better.
For God's sake, grow up. This isn't a schoolyard.
